Lunch at Hossa Visitor Centre – Week 38

At Hossa Nationalpark Visitor Centre you can enjoy a hearty Finnish lunch every day from 12:00 to 16:00. The menu for week 38 features traditional home-style dishes, with oven-baked vendace and a vegetarian option available daily.

Weekly lunch menu:

  • Mon: Ham casserole
  • Tue: Chicken stew
  • Wed: Meatballs
  • Thu: Lindström’s beef patties
  • Fri: Minced meat sauce
  • Sat: Karelian stew
  • Sun: Kebab casserole

The lunch includes salad, bread, beverage, dessert, and coffee or tea.

The Visitor Centre is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00. The café serves throughout the opening hours, and you will also find a grocery kiosk and souvenir shop. The same building also houses the campsite reception and provides further visitor information.

Camping Karhunkainalo in Hossa

Located right next to the Hossa Nationalpark Visitor Centre, Camping Karhunkainalo offers excellent facilities for both caravanners and tent campers. From the campsite you can step directly onto the national park’s hiking trails and enjoy the crystal-clear lakes – nature begins right outside your door.

The area has a service building with saunas, showers, toilets, and a kitchen. The Visitor Centre is just next door, offering a café-restaurant and local tips for your adventures. On the shore of Lake Öllöri, there is also a spacious lakeside sauna available for rent.

  • Thu: Minced meat & potato casserole
  • Fri: Meatloaf
  • Sat: Cabbage casserole
  • Sun: Chef’s choice

The lunch includes the main dish, a generous salad buffet, fresh bread, a beverage, dessert, and coffee/tea. In addition, oven-baked vendace and a vegetarian option are available every day 🌿
