Seipiniemi Wilderness Experience Centre

Hossa’s own peninsula of peace and wilderness experiences

A place where the forest calms the mind and the fire brings people together

Seipiniemi is its own world, beyond the gate begins a peace where haste disappears and the moment stands still.
The peninsula, opening in the middle of a dry pine ridge, invites you to spend time together, enjoy nature and experience something that cannot be built: the genuine feeling of Hossa.

When you step into the yard, the first thing you notice is the silence.
The forest around you breathes in its own rhythm, the lake surface is often mirror-calm, and the firepit’s flames light up the evening. This place was created so that you can be in the heart of nature without noise, yet still close to all necessary services.

Soft steam of the smoke sauna and the calm of the lake

The Seipiniemi smoke sauna is an experience you won’t forget

With a single heating, the sauna accommodates about 10 people at a time, and the atmosphere is dim, gentle and deeply calming. The warmth of the stove, the scent of the smoke and the rising steam create a whole that becomes the highlight of the visit for many.

After the sauna, the lake awaits just a few steps away, and the colours of the evening light reflect on the water in a way that is hard to describe.

It’s something you simply have to experience.

Private Restaurant

and indoor open-fire cooking

The indoor spaces of Seipiniemi are atmospheric and versatile

Long tables, a wood-fired stove, an indoor open-fire cooking area and a large window overlooking the lake create a warm, wilderness-inspired setting for meals, workshops and evening gatherings. You can cook your own food, bring your own ingredients, or order catering from the Hossa kitchen.

The space can be easily adapted for celebrations, evening events, wellbeing days or any programme your group has planned.

Firepits, lean-to shelter and outdoor areas

  • a large lean-to shelter by the shore
  • a covered outdoor cooking area with several options, including a wood-fired stove
