Café-Restaurant Lounaja
Hossa café-restaurant is located in the Nature Centre. The café-restaurant is open from 1.3.-31.10.During the summer season, lunch is offered on a daily basis, whilst lunches or dinners are also available at other times by arrangement. Basic food provisions can be purchased from the café-restaurant.The Nature Centre also contains the reception and guidance services, as well as an exhibition from the State Forest Enterprise on Hossa National Park. Dining can easily be integrated into programmes in the conference rooms of the Nature Centre.
Lunch
At the Hossa Nature Centre café-restaurant, lunch is served according to the season. Starting from early March, we offer a spring soup lunch, which always includes a vegetarian soup option.
During the spring season, lunch is enjoyed in the form of a warm, hearty soup – a perfect break in the middle of a hiking day or after time spent outdoors.
From June onwards, we move to a more generous lunch buffet, offering several main dishes and a variety of side dishes. Fish is available daily, and there is always a vegetarian option as well.
Lunch is ideal for hikers, paddlers, anglers returning from the lake – and of course for anyone enjoying a peaceful holiday in nature.
We use locally produced ingredients whenever possible, including vendace and whitefish from Lake Kiantajärvi and beef from a nearby farm.

Meeting services
Hossa’s landscapes create a unique starting point for meetings.The renewed premises of the Nature Centre can host meetings for about 20 guests.The conference premises are equipped with modern technology, with sound systems and video projectors.The lumberjack apartment Pääpirtti is a good option for those looking for a meeting space with a wild spirit. The Nature Centre can customize servings by order, as well as programme services, as part of a meeting.
Programme services
Programme services and outdoor dining can be ordered from the staff at Hossa Nature Centre and Kylmäluoma trekking center. The customized programme services are highly suited, for example, as part of a conference. Additional information of the area programme services can be provided by the trekking center receptions.
