Reindeer rutting season has begun

Autumn brings the reindeer rutting season. Male reindeer (bulls) gather females around them and may be more protective of their herd and territory than usual.

If you encounter reindeer in the wild:

• Respect their peace
• Keep a safe distance, especially from bulls with antlers
• Do not disturb or approach too closely

It is important to be cautious and give the animals their space.
